Public information that is kept separate from the Institute's guides and from official Tribal speech.
Corrections
Report a source, contact, instruction, or release problem so the specific item can be checked and corrected.
Institute documents and version records
These documents explain the Institute’s purpose, how it develops and maintains its work, and which versions and methods it has chosen to use.
Publication-status note. The August 25, 2026 Community Brief, Partnership Brief, and Institutional Prospectus preserve the publication status recorded at that time. For the current publication, visit The Long Meanwhile. Their substantive Institute content is unchanged.
Institutional Prospectus
An overview of the Institute: what it does, how it relates to The Long Return and Christopher Knorr’s authored work, and how the work is maintained.
Constitutional Development Manual
The public reference edition explains how Institute projects are built, reviewed, maintained, and, when appropriate, handed off.
The Audit — Institute Operational Standard
The Institute's versioned review standard for public releases, including evidence, authority, limits, corrections, and release checks. External validation remains open.
Community Navigation System Charter
An early formal record of the Institute's navigation work. The current public service has developed beyond this version.
Community Brief
A short introduction to current Institute work and the questions where outside review or community knowledge would help.
Partnership Brief
A short introduction for organizations considering review, referral, testing, or other bounded collaboration.
Version numbers make corrections traceable.
If you report an error, the version identifies what you were reading. Material corrections are recorded rather than silently replacing the earlier record.
The weekly Check-In archive remains on The Long Return. Christopher Knorr’s authored essays and scholarship belong with The Long Meanwhile, his separate publication.
