# Ultra Audit: Art Community guide and Institute integration

**Review date:** October 22, 2026. **Candidate:** Institute v0.7.7; guide edition 1.1, trial copy. **Disposition:** corrected practical trial guide; local artifact checks complete; prepared, not deployed. Exact ZIP identity and post-packaging closure are recorded outside the payload in the accompanying handoff and records, avoiding a self-referential archive checksum.

The review supports a corrected, clearly bounded practical trial guide. It found specific problems in measurement language, participation permission, copied instructions and release records, and a further readability problem during actual browser review. Corrections preserve the author’s purpose and method. They do not establish field effectiveness, completed human validation or a live deployment.

## 1. Audit/system version and status

The user explicitly selected **Audit Usable System 0.4.0, dated September 18, 2026**, and requested **ULTRA**. The complete controlling LLM Drop-In was read. Its status is **USABLE CONTROLLED SUCCESSOR CANDIDATE**; its last formally released baseline is **1.7.1**. Gate 71 remains **OPEN_DEFERRED_EXTERNAL**. Independent operator comparison, external replication and operational validation of the Audit are not established.

This selection controls this run. It does not silently replace the Institute’s separately recorded core v0.6-dev/operator v1.5 adoption, establish a formal v2 release or confer external validation. The current release record explicitly preserves that distinction. Evidence: protocol_integrity.json (`audit_ultra_20261022/protocol_integrity.json` in the companion records), [current release controls](https://institute.thelongreturn.org/release.json).

## 2. Exact object and access statement

The audited starting object was the actual **v0.7.6 deployment ZIP**, `The_Long_Return_Institute_v0.7.6_Art_Community_Netlify.zip`, SHA256 `e77c07f27902f9e43040f9fe03087e27d8e3711d0043f56b874418cc966acdc4`. Its 817 unique members passed CRC and matched the inspected release tree. This identifies the frozen predecessor; it does not establish the successor’s identity.

Reviewers read the complete supplied Christopher Knorr manuscript, the cleaned guide, actual HTML, source ledger, 32-page predecessor guide PDF and six-page packet, alongside current release, stewardship, discovery and routing records. The original manuscript remains unchanged. The corrected edition 1.1 Markdown is identified by SHA256 `f0555cf943a0a7f0574d424d46296a00fdde96e88e3c2d6fd973ba5972773037`.

The successor is prepared in `institute_release_v0_7_7`. Its final full guide has **32 pages**, 196,384 bytes, SHA256 `3b7da46782c48ff23d2b8a82002ee205b2537b5a5af37f9d7285364ae69d1b8e`. The six-page packet has 70,166 bytes, SHA256 `bf762aeaa1227447fc36d18600b58de917026151b6c174fe79e3394b01144d28`. These exact print derivatives passed the scoped retest and are included in the prepared payload. Their byte identity is checked again against the resulting ZIP. Exact source and predecessor hashes, access scope and missing material are recorded in the artifact-access ledger (`audit_ultra_20261022/ledgers/artifact-access-ledger.csv` in the companion records). The access record distinguishes source reading, PDF extraction/render evidence, browser execution and human use. File-wide hashing does not imply a fresh substantive review of every inherited page. Evidence: package identity (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational_package_identity.json` in the companion records), content review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/content_review.json` in the companion records), layer review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/layer_review.json` in the companion records).

## 3. Retrieval and integrity result

The supplied protocol ZIP, SHA256 `31bfb38631a83e8d01edc499ba7ba4405e307b4bc82e0beb9f813f459d0571df`, passed CRC. **Twenty-eight of twenty-nine manifest entries match.** The complete Drop-In matches its recorded bytes and hash; its terminal sentinel and balanced fences pass. All **eleven embedded controls** match their standalone substantive bodies.

The exception is `README_OPEN_THIS_FIRST.md`: the supplied file differs from the manifest and its own body metadata. The attempted comparison reconstruction did not reproduce the manifest hash. The extra runner prompt is also recorded, without being promoted into a missing operative control. The received packet therefore must not be described as wholly manifest-clean.

Two human-facing count hints were not reproduced: the Human Manual yielded 3,370 rather than 3,380 regex words, and the Quick Start Workbook 551 rather than 561. Their exact file/body hashes and line counts match. This leaves a count-convention or stale-hint question, not evidence that their bytes were truncated.

Proceeding is justified by the complete verified controlling Drop-In and matching controls. The README discrepancy, count hints and external-validation boundary remain **R06**. Input files were preserved. Evidence: integrity receipt (`audit_ultra_20261022/protocol_integrity.json` in the companion records).

## 4. Mode and modules triggered / not triggered

ULTRA adds adversarial examination, prior-work comparison, exact artifact access, cross-layer review, finding states and explicit remainders to the ordinary control sequence. It does not activate irrelevant requirements.

AUDIT-10 and 20 provide run and parent control. **21–24** govern dependencies, evidence transitions, authority and correction. **25** is triggered by web summaries, PDFs, detached sheets and search. **26** governs disclosed adaptation, successor versions and inherited records. **30** is triggered selectively by citations, source functions and nearby methods. **40** applies fully to a public website, downloadable working instruments, release package and proposed maintenance. The 70 failure-mode/benchmark checks and 80 ledgers support the run.

**50 is not triggered:** no specialised doctrinal module is required for this practical guide. Neither a new philosophical theory nor academic novelty is a publication condition. No substantive Long Return/LC conclusion is imported merely because an Audit control is used.

## 5. Load-bearing claim/rule

The defensible offer is: **a neighbour can use these instructions to plan a small, voluntary art gathering, then review early feedback, practical burdens and reasons to change or stop.** Local permissions, willingness, access and capacity remain conditions.

The guide must not promise that its cards establish friendship, lasting relationships, cohort retention or an effect caused by the combined method. Nor may a detached card grant authority or omit a consequential limit that the full guide preserves. Publication must keep author, trial status, source lineage, correction route and version identity visible.

This is a practical integration of existing ideas, not a proven programme. Its usefulness does not depend on proving originality. Evidence: content review, load-bearing nodes and contribution analysis (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/content_review.json` in the companion records).

## 6. Dependency/relation findings

Node status and arrow status were assessed separately using the Audit’s vocabulary.

| Node | Status | What the status establishes |
|---|---|---|
| N1: the booklet’s inclusive meanings of art/community | STIPULATED | A local working definition, not universal ontology or compulsory membership |
| N2: the identified VTS/CRP elements exist | ESTABLISHED | Method lineage and selected procedural elements |
| N3: cards ask about visit category and an encounter | ESTABLISHED | What the instrument actually records |
| N4: willing participants may exchange observations | GRANTED_FOR_ARGUMENT | A conditional practical possibility, not an observed field result |
| N5: the combined method creates lasting relationships | OPEN | No suitable outcome/comparator evidence supplied |
| N6: a particular event has permissions and sustainable capacity | OPEN | Organisers must establish these locally |

The important arrows are more specific than “supports”:

| Relation family → role | Disposition |
|---|---|
| CONSTITUTIVE / SEMANTIC → DEFINES | N1 can define this booklet’s scope without proving a wider theory. |
| INFERENTIAL → EVIDENCES | N3 supports reported encounters and visit categories; it does not evidence N5. |
| CAUSAL / GENERATIVE → ENABLES | Space and prompts may enable exchange, conditional on N6. This does not establish CAUSES lasting relationships. |
| NORMATIVE / AUTHORITY → AUTHORIZES | Venue permission does not authorise an individual’s participation or override a cultural holder. |
| SCOPE / EXCEPTION → CONDITIONS | Maker agreement and relevant holders’ permissions condition showing work. They survive programme decisions. |
| TEMPORAL / LIFECYCLE → SUPERSEDES | Edition 1.1 becomes the current recommendation through controlled release; it does not rewrite historical copies or test records. |

No remedial or enforcement power is created by this report. A failed arrow does not defeat both endpoint nodes: useful counts survive the failure of the friendship inference. Open antecedents permit **EXPLORE_CONDITIONALLY**, not an upgrade to established outcomes. Evidence: content review, nodes/arrows and open antecedents (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/content_review.json` in the companion records).

## 7. Evidence-transition findings

The required sequence is **source → use → supported proposition → inference → consequence**.

For the [NEA report](https://www.arts.gov/sites/default/files/when-going-gets-tough-revised2.pdf), the source is the 2015 analysis of the 2012 General Social Survey. Its use is historical context for attendance barriers. Table II-2 reports 21.6%, rounded to 22%, identifying lack of a companion among interested non-attendees. This supports trying invitations as a local option; it does not estimate their effectiveness. The corrected opener no longer asserts that invitations necessarily bring people.

For the door cards, the source is a respondent’s optional answer. Its use is descriptive local review. It supports a reported encounter and willingness to talk again, or a reported earlier visit. The former promise that the booklet showed how to check whether gatherings make friends exceeded that proposition. The consequence could be an unwarranted success/failure decision. **U01 narrows the claim rather than adding intrusive longitudinal data collection.**

Four constructed countercases tested the instructions; none is represented as observed participant data:

1. **Unclear marks:** eight cards mark first visit, one second, and one both second and third-or-more. Adding marks can yield 3/10 = 30%; excluding the unclear response yields 1/9 = 11.1%. That crosses the illustrative 25% line. U02 defines one clear choice, blank/unclear handling and question-specific denominators.
2. **Changing composition:** four repeat and four first-visit answers give 50%; eight repeat and thirty-two first-visit answers give 20%. Repeat reports doubled while the share fell. A chosen response-share target may be missed without showing declining relationships or cohort retention.
3. **Repeated outreach answers:** four invited regulars answering on four nights produce sixteen invitation responses; ten poster-reached newcomers answering once produce ten. First-visit respondents are four versus ten. U03 restricts newcomer analysis appropriately and avoids a conversion claim.
4. **Participation without agreement:** someone at a laundromat can know a skit is happening while declining a role. Leaving would sacrifice the service they came for. U04 requires willing agreement and preserves the person’s original use of the place.

For official [VTS](https://vtshome.org/) and [CRP](https://lizlerman.com/critical-response-process/) pages, the evidentiary use is component identification, not validation of the blend. Publisher metadata identifies reading material; it does not validate its argument or this intervention. Tate’s direct fetch remained blocked, and the original 2008 proposal was not supplied. These limits are retained in **R01**. Evidence: content review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/content_review.json` in the companion records), layer review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/layer_review.json` in the companion records).

## 8. Authority/scope/force/readiness findings

The user’s integration request supplies authority for bounded preparation and correction. Christopher Knorr remains the author and named Institute maintainer. Reviewers verify defects; they do not acquire cultural authority, venue rights, participant consent or independent release standing through their analysis.

| Text | SOURCE_STATUS | OPERATIVE_FORCE and TEXTUAL_MODALITY |
|---|---|---|
| Art-community guide | DRAFT / trial edition | OPERATIVE_FORCE is NONE as an external mandate; participation/use is conditional. TEXTUAL_MODALITY such as MUST, MAY or SHOULD does not itself grant authority. |
| Current release controls | Recorded scoped authorisation | Public integration authorised; operational reliance explicitly not authorised. Scope is confined to this guide and correction records. |
| Audit 0.4.0 | Usable controlled successor candidate | Selected for this run; no automatic Institute-wide adoption or external validation. |
| Earlier release/test records | Historical records | Their original scopes and dates remain; present-tense wording inside them is not fresh execution evidence. |

The “permission first” rule is a scope condition, not something a group may trade away when balancing desirable outcomes. The corrected outreach instruction also distinguishes a host’s agreement from each person’s choice.

The current controls preserve constituent limits, including closed Audit intake. They do not create a scheduled Institute event or a new service. A preparation date is not a new source-verification date. [Evidence: current release controls](https://institute.thelongreturn.org/release.json), successor recheck (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational_successor_recheck.json` in the companion records).

## 9. Correction/disposition/remainder

The finding sequence is **RECEIVED → TESTED → VERIFIED / NOT_SUSTAINED / PARTIAL / OPEN → DISPOSITION_AUTHORITY_IDENTIFIED → ADOPTED / other disposition → OBJECT_CHANGED → PROPAGATED → REMAINDER review → CONTINUED_USE_REVIEW**. Each transition requires evidence; adoption is not propagation, and changed files are not repaired effects.

| ID | Verified defect and bounded correction | Current disposition |
|---|---|---|
| U01 | Measurement promises exceeded the cards. Claims now concern early signs and a review prompt. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U02 | Multiple/unclear answers were undefined; detached repeat tally lacked the zero-answer rule. One clear choice, separate blank/unclear counts and “no responses” now apply to both shares. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U03 | Outreach totals could recount regulars. First-awareness answers are scoped to clear first visits and treated as reports, not conversion. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U04 | Awareness substituted for agreement. Bystanders must freely agree and retain the ability to decline or stop. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U05 | Talk-card compression dropped harm-response and permission limits. These now appear on the working card. | Source/HTML and detached print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U06 | Sheets lacked edition/retrieval identity and local method credit. Add identity to sheets and cutout cards; credit the adaptation. | Sheet and cutout identities verified in print; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U07 | “Pay them” exceeded the conditional prior agreement. It now says make agreed payments. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U08 | The flyer promised recurrence after a one-evening trial. It now distinguishes one evening from a confirmed series. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U09 | Reading free text aloud could expose identifying details. Review and tally now use a non-identifying summary. | Source/HTML/print correction verified; propagated into the prepared payload, with exact archive identity recorded separately. |
| U10 | Eleven current JSON pointers used incorrect filename case. Nine stewardship and two release references now resolve to exact existing targets. | Current-tree correction and pointer propagation verified; the prepared payload preserves these exact targets, with archive identity recorded separately. |
| U11 | A narrow table was unreadable despite no overflow. Fixed column layout in a versioned stylesheet restores readable headings. | Actual local browser recheck passed; live-host scope remains open. |

All eleven U findings have verified defects, identified disposition authority under the user's requested integration/correction scope, adopted bounded repairs, changed objects and checked propagation within the prepared release. Their finding states are recorded separately from the still-open R01–R06 conditions. The finding count groups related repairs; it is not a severity score or a whole-site certification. Evidence: finding-state ledger (`audit_ultra_20261022/ledgers/finding-state-ledger.csv` in the companion records), final static check (`art_community_ultra_work/final_static_validation.json` in the companion records), package receipt (`art_community_ultra_work/package-verification.json` in the companion records), closure receipt (`audit_ultra_20261022/audit-closure.json` in the companion records).

The final print retest (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/print_retest_v1_1.json` in the companion records) closes the named print-propagation defects; the earlier reviews retain their earlier observation states. The explicit remainders are **R01 sources/access**, **R02 human/field/assistive-technology/physical-print evidence**, **R03 host behaviour**, **R04 stewardship capacity**, **R05 external effects**, and **R06 protocol integrity/validation**. They are not interchangeable publication vetoes. Their owners, triggers and limits appear in the operational ledger (`audit_ultra_20261022/ledgers/operational-ledger.csv` in the companion records).

The broader accusation that the full guide lacked any zero-response rule was **NOT_SUSTAINED**: that rule existed in the prose. Only its detached propagation was defective. Claims of blanket readiness promotion, false 2008 provenance, or a need to prove novelty were also not sustained. Evidence: layer review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/layer_review.json` in the companion records), content review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/content_review.json` in the companion records), successor recheck (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational_successor_recheck.json` in the companion records).

## 10. Layer fidelity

The chain is original manuscript → maintained source → HTML/full PDF → separate sheets/cutouts → discovery and search. A shorter layer must preserve consequential status, permission, counting and retrieval limits. The full guide’s qualification cannot rescue a detached instruction that users are expressly invited to copy.

The final print retest covers all **38 pages**: 32 guide pages and six packet pages were rendered and visually inspected. No clipping, overlap, missing glyphs, broken tables or page-number defects were observed. Of **357 checked source passages, 356 matched**; the remaining “Printed 4 to a page” instruction was implemented by the four-card layout. No substantive passage was missing. All six sheet bodies match between booklet and packet, and all **13 critical card-rule checks pass**.

Every sheet and all four cutouts carry author, edition, date and a canonical return URL. The actual PDF derivatives retain harm-response, permission, unclear-answer, zero-denominator, agreed-pay and recurrence conditions. This closes the source-to-print findings within desktop rendering and text/geometry scope. Physical printing, assistive-technology use and representative human tasks remain unperformed. Evidence: print retest (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/print_retest_v1_1.json` in the companion records), fidelity QA (`art_community_ultra_work/print/fidelity_qa.json` in the companion records), print QA (`art_community_ultra_work/print/print_qa.json` in the companion records).

**U11 arose from actual visual review.** At a 320-pixel embedded viewport, effective width 305 pixels, automatic table layout split even “Count” despite zero horizontal overflow. A new `art-community-v1-1.css` uses fixed columns on narrow views; the previous stylesheet is retained. Fresh inspection found readable first-column words and no document/table overflow across all nine fixtures.

The same browser run checked keyboard menu opening/closing, the cards anchor and actual search-result navigation. These were local connected-browser observations, not physical-device tests. The doubled root-font fixture was not browser zoom. The local server’s `/search` failure, while `/search.html` worked, reflects a routing capability absent from that preview; Netlify pretty routes still require host verification. Evidence: browser QA (`art_community_ultra_work/browser_qa.json` in the companion records), narrow-table repair (`art_community_ultra_work/narrow-table-repair.json` in the companion records).

## 11. AI provenance

AI assisted editorial checking, source inspection, formatting, print production, technical checking and this Audit. The edition identifies Christopher Knorr as author and discloses the assistance. It does not claim knowledge of how the earlier manuscript was drafted or a completed human field trial.

The participating agents are instances of the same model in one coordinated workflow. Their separate checks can expose errors and supply reproducible evidence; they are **not independent human review, independent external validation or a second human operator test**. No citation, access claim or test is established merely because another agent asserted it. Exact files, receipts and scoped source passages remain the basis for conclusions.

## 12. Domain-module findings

### AUDIT-30: contribution, sources and strongest challenge

The contribution is a practical arrangement of borrowed methods, local advice and copying sheets. The strongest fair objection is that appealing scenes, established method names and simple counts could make an untested blend appear to prove community formation. Ordinary hospitality, existing friendships, food or a simpler gathering could explain the same observations with less work.

The strongest reply is that the guide labels its scene imagined, calls the method a trial, starts with one evening, permits passing and listening, and allows the review to stop the method itself. That reply preserves the practical offer. It does not excuse stronger measurement promises; U01 repairs those.

Relevant comparators are helping an existing gathering/calendar, an informal maker conversation, a smaller or less frequent event, complete VTS for visual inquiry, and complete CRP for maker feedback. Their different purposes prevent a false superiority claim. The existing-group-first advice addresses duplication. No comparison establishes that this guide is better or worse everywhere.

### AUDIT-40: seven evidence lanes

| Lane | Evidence state and ceiling |
|---|---|
| Artifact identity | Frozen predecessor, revised source and final PDFs identified by exact hashes. The manifest identifies every successor payload file; package-verification.json and audit-closure.json identify the resulting ZIP outside the payload. |
| Static package behavior | Final-tree checks cover 81 HTML pages, 5,016 local references and 422 fragments, with zero unresolved static issues. The release has 829 payload files. All 246 protected original assets and all 250 protected immediate-predecessor assets remain byte-identical. The manifest and completed archive are verified by the finalizer and separate closure receipt. |
| Host/runtime behavior | Fresh local browser checks recorded. **LIVE_HOST = NOT VERIFIED IN THIS RUN.** |
| Source/currentness state | October 21 bibliography records retained; October 22 targeted primary/access checks separately scoped. |
| Human-use evidence | Reader tasks, field use, assistive-technology users, physical devices/printing and second-operator work remain open. |
| Maintenance/stewardship evidence | Named owner, triggers and correction/fallback route recorded; backup not designated and recurring cadence not adopted. Executed upkeep unproved. |
| Operational reliance | Explicitly not authorised; public informational trial preparation only. |

A pass in one lane cannot close another. Written stewardship improves traceability but does not manufacture maintenance capacity. Existing source-review limits cannot be renewed by changing a release date. Evidence: operational review (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational-review.md` in the companion records), successor recheck (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational_successor_recheck.json` in the companion records).

### Failure modes and retained benchmarks

| Check | Application in this run |
|---|---|
| FM-70 Version Drift | Separate v0.7.6 history from v0.7.7; U10 repairs current references without rewriting archives. |
| FM-71 Supplement Collapse | The prior Audit, source ledger, QA and controlling protocol remain distinct evidence objects. |
| FM-72 Readiness Overclaim | Local success does not become deployment, usability or efficacy proof. |
| FM-73 Presentation Override | Entry/search trial labels and actual table readability were checked; U11 shows presentation needed its own evidence. |
| FM-74 Ledgerless Reliance | The operational ledger records boundaries; its existence does not authorise reliance. |
| FM-75 Unrouted Tool Use | Public tool/package work was routed through 40; source-function scrutiny through 30. No new service or intake is inferred. |
| FM-76 Stewardship Gap | Missing backup, recurring cadence and executed capacity remain R04. |
| FM-77 Current-Version Blindness | User-selected 0.4.0, formal baseline 1.7.1 and existing Institute adoption remain distinct. |
| FM-78 Public-Use Compression Error | U02/U05/U06/U07/U08 address information or conditions lost in working derivatives. |
| FM-79 Operational/Manuscript Category Error | Authored text, publication package, hosted service and validated intervention are different objects. |

**B30 Older Packet Overclosure:** the prior verdict did not decide this run. **B31 Companion-as-Audit:** actual manuscript, HTML, PDFs, ZIP and controls were opened. **B32 Ready-for-What:** the ceiling is a bounded public trial explanation. **B33 Presentation Override:** discovery, search and narrow rendering were examined. **B34 Ledgerless Operational Use:** neither a partial nor complete written ledger proves operational capacity. This is an object-specific adversarial scan, not external execution or validation of a benchmark suite.

## 13. What changed / what remains unchanged

Edition 1.1 changes the specific claims and instructions identified in U01–U09. Current controls correct U10, record the scoped Audit selection and expose maintenance limits. U11 adds a versioned narrow-layout repair. Discovery and search point to the successor edition; final PDFs are retested and frozen. The resulting archive is identified by the external package receipt, rather than by an invented checksum inside this report.

Christopher Knorr’s authorship, trial status, practical purpose, five-step discussion scaffold, voluntary participation, one-evening start, local review, existing-group/calendar checks and permission-first rule remain. The nineteen further-reading entries and original-proposal access limit remain appropriately qualified. The author’s copyright and permission to photocopy cards for gatherings are retained; other copying or adaptation remains subject to the guide’s stated author-contact rule.

The original manuscript, predecessor PDFs and archived controls are preserved. No Institute event or participant intake is created. Current-tree checks preserve all eight existing form bodies, constituent policies, protected assets and host-control bytes. Audit intake remains closed. All 804 original supplied paths and all 817 immediate-predecessor paths are retained; final archive equality is recorded in the package and closure receipts. Evidence: change record (`art_community_ultra_work/editorial-changes-ultra.json` in the companion records), successor preservation receipt (`audit_ultra_20261022/reviews/operational_successor_recheck.json` in the companion records).

## 14. Outside reach / external answerability

R01 allows focused re-entry if the 2008 original, blocked toolkit or another load-bearing source becomes available. Metadata access need not be expanded into nineteen full-book reviews merely to preserve a contextual reading list.

R02 remains open for actual willing readers, organisers and access users. If stronger efficacy or usability claims are sought, collect evidence matching those claims and conditions. Nobody is enrolled or scheduled by this report. Local hosts, makers and cultural holders retain their own decisions.

R03 requires a separate observation on the actual Netlify host; local rendering does not establish routing, security headers, caching or form receipt.

R04 names Christopher Knorr for publication upkeep without inventing a backup or an adopted monitoring schedule. R05 distinguishes prepared correction notices from actual distribution, recalled copies or repaired consequences. No harm or external use was established; absence from the record is not proof that none occurred. R06 belongs partly to the Audit system owner: this run cannot validate its own method externally. Evidence: operational ledger (`audit_ultra_20261022/ledgers/operational-ledger.csv` in the companion records).

## 15. Readiness ceiling

The defensible ceiling is **public-explanation ready as an explicitly untested practical trial guide**, usable for local pilot planning under actual permissions and capacity. The source/HTML/print corrections, current-record repairs and local browser/static observations support that bounded finding. The recorded release state is **ULTRA_AUDIT_CORRECTED_TRIAL_GUIDE_PREPARED_NOT_DEPLOYED**, with **PUBLIC_PRACTICAL_TRIAL_ONLY** as its use boundary.

The handoff must be read with the exact package and closure receipts. A finished ZIP is not a host event. This review does not make a particular event pilot-ready or the method field-validated.

No operational-reliance readiness, live deployment, accessibility certification, representative comprehension, physical-print usability or independent validation is claimed. Missing field proof does not prohibit honest trial publication; it limits the claims publication may make. The weakest load-bearing condition limits closure, and inherited PASS labels cannot raise it.

## 16. Next action

The next execution step is to verify a fresh extraction of the exact supplied website ZIP with `python3 maintenance/verify_payload_v0_7_7.py`, then preview it in the existing Institute project. The package receipt and separate read-only AI closure identify the final bytes; their completion closes local packaging and propagation only. Keep the owner records outside the public deployment directory.

An authorised operator can then preview the root-ready static payload in the **existing Institute Netlify project**, retaining the actual live predecessor/export for rollback if it differs from the prepared v0.7.6 archive. At deployment, check canonical and pretty routes, PDFs, discovery/search, redirects, 404 behaviour, headers and caching; any existing form receipt test belongs to the owner. No new site or framework build is required.

Record the outcome as a distinct host event. Keep R01–R06 open within their stated scope, and reopen affected findings if concrete source, use or maintenance evidence changes the conclusion.
